How AccelaStudy® AI English Compares

Most IELTS and TOEFL prep platforms ship pre-recorded video lessons and a fixed bank of practice questions. Tutoring is adaptive but expensive. AccelaStudy AI is the first to combine adaptive intelligence with AI-scored writing and speaking at a price designed for the international audience.

Pricing FAQ

Does $19/mo really cover IELTS Academic, IELTS General Training, and TOEFL iBT?

Yes. One subscription gives you full access to all three formats. Switch between them anytime — your vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation profile carries forward.

How does the AI Writing and Speaking scoring work?

Writing is scored against the published IELTS band-descriptor rubric and the TOEFL Writing analytic rubric. Speaking is scored on fluency and coherence, lexical resource, grammatical range, and pronunciation. We expect within ±0.5 IELTS bands and ±2 TOEFL points of human raters at launch — calibration data is published alongside the product.

How is this different from Magoosh or Kaplan?

Magoosh ships pre-recorded video lessons and a fixed bank of practice questions — no adaptive intelligence and no AI scoring on writing or speaking. Kaplan is course-based at $500–$2,000 with manual grading turnaround. AccelaStudy AI is adaptive on day one, scores your writing and speaking immediately, and costs less per month than Kaplan charges per hour of tutoring.

What happens if I cancel between attempts?

Your progress, knowledge graph, and section-level readiness scores are preserved. Resubscribe and pick up exactly where you left off. There is no reactivation fee.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. When AccelaStudy AI English launches, every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Credit card required to start. Your card is charged your plan's price when the trial ends unless you cancel first. No minimum commitment after that, either. One month of adaptive English prep costs less than a single hour of private tutoring.

Do I get access to other AccelaStudy AI products?

No. Each product is independent. See Other Products for the full AccelaStudy AI family (MCAT®, AP®, LSAT®, Test Prep, Certs, Free).

Will pricing be lower in countries where $19 is unaffordable?

Regional pricing is being finalized for launch. Where AccelaStudy AI ships through international payment partners, prices are normalized to local purchasing power. Sign up at launch to lock in your first-year rate.

What payment methods are accepted?

Major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and a growing list of regional payment providers (UPI in India, Alipay/WeChat Pay in China, Pix in Brazil) at launch.
