Writing is scored against the published IELTS band-descriptor rubric and the TOEFL Writing analytic rubric. Speaking is scored on fluency and coherence, lexical resource, grammatical range, and pronunciation. We expect within ±0.5 IELTS bands and ±2 TOEFL points of human raters at launch — we’ll publish calibration data alongside the product.
AccelaStudy AI English is AI-only at launch. The combination of adaptive practice + AI scoring on writing/speaking covers the bulk of what tutoring traditionally provided, at a fraction of the cost. Optional human review of writing samples may be added later as a paid add-on.
Yes. Web, iOS, iPadOS, and macOS clients all sync your adaptive profile. Speaking practice requires a microphone (any modern phone or laptop).
English at launch. Hindi, Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Korean, and Japanese interface translations are planned for a phase-2 release.
